The Super Eagles come top in the head to head record against Zambia. In 18 games since 1973, Nigeria have beaten the Zambians seven times, lost five times and drawn six.
Although the Super Eagles of Nigeria have a better head to head record, the Zambians have hurt Nigeria in the past.
Rohr, however, does not care about history, insisting that he is just focusing on preparing his team for the game.

“When we won in Zambia they told me Nigeria never won there, the statistic is one thing, the reality is something else,” Rohr said at the press conference before the game.
Both teams have had memorable wins in this fixture.
Zambia thrashed Nigeria 5-1 in an Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier in 1973 in their first-ever meeting.
The Super Eagles also fell 3-0 at the 1982 AFCON. In March 1990, Nigeria beat Zambia 2-0 in the semifinal of the AFCON.
The 2-1 win for Nigeria in the final of the 1994 AFCON is one of the most memorable wins for the Super Eagles.
In Ndola last October in the first leg of the qualifier, Nigeria beat Zambia 2-1 courtesy of goals from Alex Iwobi and Kelechi Iheanacho.
