Wife and daughters of Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola escaped the terror attack that happened at Manchester Arena on Monday, May 22.

Guardiola’s wife Cristina Serra and two of their three daughters attended the concert of Ariana Grande at Manchester Arena where the terror attack happened.

According to reports in Spain, family members of some Manchester City players were also at the concert but escaped unhurt.

After the attack, Guardiola took to his Twitter to express his shock.

“Shocked. Can't believe what happened last night. My deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims. #Ilovemanchester,” the 46-year-old wrote on Twitter.

After the tragic incident, Manchester City set up a support centre at the Etihad Stadium to help anyone affected by the attack.

The club provided doctors, counsellors and bereavement officers which are stationed at the Etihad with food and pharmaceutical supplies provided by local businesses.
