Eden Hazard continues his dominance in the English Premier League by scooping the Footballer of the Year award as voted by Football Writers' Association.
The forward has been Chelsea's best player this season, scoring 20 goals in all competitions as they are set to finish as undefined and also winners of the Capital One Cup.
For the football writers award, Hazard won with 53% of the votes from over 300 journalists.
"The list of truly world class players on the Football Writers' Association roll of honour is a long one and Eden Hazard is a worthy addition," FWA chairman Andy Dunn said.
"A creator, a goalscorer and the hardest of workers, Hazard has been a constant source of threat for the Barclays Premier League champions.
"But it is not just his trickery, his pace, his artistry and his marksmanship that make Hazard such an invaluable component of Jose Mourinho's Chelsea squad, it is his durability."
Hazard will receive his prize at a dinner which will hold at London's Landmark Hotel on Thursday, May 21.
