The Black Stars of Ghana have finally arrived for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar on Friday, November 18, 2022.

The team led by head coach Otto Addo arrive in Qatar after a 2-0 victory against Switzerland in their final preparatory fixture for the tournament.

The players, technical team, and management crew were all dressed in traditional attires showing their cultural heritage.

Ghana shows off style, arrive Qatar 2022 in cultural attire

The official social media platforms of the Ghanaian national team put out pictures of their arrival in Qatar.

The noticeable attire laced with Kente was designed with the yellow and black colors of the country.

Ghana follow the footsteps of the Super Eagles of Nigeria as they also wore a traditional outfit arriving to the 2018 World Cup.

The Black Stars players featuring several newcomers that recently switched their allegiance to represent Ghana were all smiles as they touched down in Qatar.

They were welcomed by the host country and provided security detail as they settled down in their new environment.

Ghana are in a tough Group H along with tournament favorites Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay.

They begin their World Cup campaign against Euro 2016 champions Portugal who thrashed their west African rivals Nigeria 4-0 in their final warm-up game.

After the game against Portugal on Thursday, November 24 the Black Stars take on South Korea four days later and end their group campaign against Uruguay in what will be a rematch of the 2010 World Cup quarterfinal.
