Marek Zmyslowski [Episode 30]

After getting contacted by Rocket Internet via  LinkedIn, Marek Zmyslowski made a big move from his home in Poland to Lagos, Nigeria to launch Jovago.com in 2013. The company has since grown to be identified to be one of the biggest hotel booking portals in Africa with offices in 12 other sub Saharan countries and a team of 100 staff members.

On this week’s My Africa podcast, Marek airs his thoughts on Nigerian culture and the country’s e-commerce industry.

When asked about his competition hotel.ng during the interview, he said; “In business you are always going to be compared to competition”.
