Temitope Greenaway, popularly known as Miz Gold who is a songwriter, singer, artist and former dancer and was born in Oyo State Ibadan, Nigeria She is both a Nigerian and Ghanaian artiste.
The singer recently released a new song ‘Some edem’, which has garnered wide acclaim, and she can’t but be happy about the reception.
“It’s amazing to know that the song on the forst week that it’s out, the very first day they premiered it was on top 5 countdown in this country Nigeria, Wazobia FM. So, I’m proud really, I’m proud.” Miz Gold gushed.
The singer further talked on her decision to stay true to dancehall music, stating that the inherent challenge of sanitising and speaking patois is a chief reason for it.
“…there are not many female dancehall artistes, and we’re not Jamaicans….the Jamaican patois is not an easy thing, and I love challenges. And I love reggae/dancehall music, so I love challenges."
