According to Daily Post, he recently gave reasons for the creation of marriage, while officiating at the wedding of the son of Apostle Emmanuel Nuhu Kure of the Throneroom ‎Trust Ministries, Kafanchan, Kaduna State and General Secretary of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN.

These include:

1.Stability.

2.To fill a vacuum.

3. The multiplication of potentials.

4. Accumulation of productivity.

5. Fulfilment of divine agenda on earth.

6. Saturation of the earth.

He went on to advise the newly weds to remain faithful, in order to enjoy the blessings of God.

The wedding was attended by the General Overseer, Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who was accompanied by his wife, Folu.

Both encouraged the couple to place God first‎ in their marriage.

This comes as recent studies have shown that the desire for marriage has reduced, since more people are opting for co-habitation.
