Nabuli, who grew up playing rugby union, will switch from rugby league to the 15-man game next year after three years in the NRL - first with the Penrith Panthers before joining the Dragons for the 2015 season.

The 27-year-old has played 13 games for the Dragons this season, scoring seven tries - including one in St George's 11-10 finals loss to the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs last week.

But Nabuli will turn his back on rugby league for at least the next two years, as he moves to Super Rugby with the Reds.

"My hometown of Sigatoka is known as a rugby town, so it's exciting to be heading back to the sport I grew up with," he said in a statement on the Reds' website."It will be a big challenge for me, but I will train hard and work hard to earn my place in the team.

"I'm really looking forward to this new challenge. This will be a good move for my future and for my family."
