The Nigerian Rugby national team, the Stallions have moved up in the latest IRB rankings for the month of June.
After placing third at the just concluded Africa Cup 1C in Gaborone, Botswana, the team was awarded points which saw it elevate three places from the previous 81 to the current 78.
The rankings are posted on the website of the International Rugby Board (IRB).
With this upward move, Nigeria is now the 13th in the African rankings, coming behind South Africa who maintain the top position in Africa and 2 in the World; Namibia 22 in the World and 2nd in Africa, with Zimbabwe coming in 3rd and 30 in the World.
