Ganduje appoints SSG, others

New Kano State governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has approved the appointment of Alhaji Rabi’u Bichi as Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Bichi is the immediate past SSG, who was in the state’s Executive Council dissolved on Thursday by the former governor, Alhaji Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Furthermore, the governor’s statement also announced the appointment of Alhaji Usman Muhammad as his Principal Private Secretary and Alhaji Muhammad Na’iya as Head of Service.

According to the statement, former Director of Press to Kwankwaso, Halilu Dantiye has been appointed Director- General, Media and Communication, to the governor. The statement also  said that other media aides appointed were Alhaji Aminu Yassar as Press Secretary and Alhaji Bala Salihu as Special Adviser, Print Media.

The appointments are with immediate effect.
