Shilling edges up against the dollar

At 1105 GMT, commercial banks posted the shilling at 101.30/40, slightly up from Wednesday's closing rate of 101.40/50.

The Kenyan shilling inched up on Thursday mainly due to higher hard currency inflows from the country's citizens living abroad and agricultural exporters.
