The 2000 Senators and House of Rep members are expected to live in Abuja with their families, and they will certainly require accommodation.

The hitherto slow Abuja real estate sector, as reported by most property agents, has now come alive.

A stakeholder in Abuja’s real sector, Sunday Adedeji, said  “ We have been getting enquiries and meeting people who are in need of property for accommodation. I was busy throughout Sunday attending to enquiries and taking prospectors round the properties that we have for lease or sale.”

Adding that 'Although they haven’t started paying up, they have shown preference for highbrow areas like Asokoro, Maitama and Wuse.'

Thank God business is looking up for realtors and agents in the Federal Capital Territory.
