The German playmaker wrote his name into the history books on Sunday, March 11 as he became the fastest player to register 50 assists in Premier League history.
Arsenal defeated Watford 3 – 0, and Ozil provided the second goal of the game for compatriot Shkodran Mustafi to set the record in 141 games, two games less than Eric Cantona.
To celebrate his achievement, Arsenal collaborated with Ozil to construct a short video which shows the former Real Madrid man assisting of the pitch.
Arsenal posted the video on their official Twitter account with a caption which said, "Be it on the pitch or at the training ground, @MesutOzil 1088 just loves to assist."
The video shows the 29-year-old assisting several staff in the training complex, from picking up the phone for the receptionist to assisting the kit man clan up the boot room and so on.
