Jennifer Lopez Suffered An Injury On Tour, And Alex Rodriguez Was There With The Sweetest Pep Talk

When Jennifer Lopez performs, shes all in-and then some. As they say, "the show must go on," and apparently, thats true even when shes freaking bleeding onstage.

ICYMI, J.Lo has been documenting all the behind the scenes action from her "It's My Party" tour on social media, and in a new YouTube video, she revealed that she started bleeding during a recent Las Vegas show after accidentally hitting herself with her own microphone (celebs, they're just like us!).

"I was bleeding, [it was] coming down my face," she told her fiance Alex Rodriguez in a video called "It's My Party Tour Diary: Volume One."

Its not totally clear how she got injured, but it seems like J.Lo-who's normally a dancer extraordinaire-messed up the choreography a little and ended up hitting her forehead on the mic.

"I hit myself with the microphone. Went like this; boom! I just looked to the side at the wrong time," she said. "Pete came, like a boxer, and he just crushed it." She started tearing up while she told the story, saying that her team managed to avoid swelling by getting her ice ASAP.

"And I was like, 'It hurts!' And he was like, 'I gotta do it or else it's gonna blow up.' And he just went down, and he goes, 'You might need stitches.' And I was like, 'No, no, no stitches," she said, pointing out that her face was dripping with blood.

While that sounds absolutely horrible, A-Rod totally crushed it when consoling J.Lo, who was worried she didnt give a good performance.

"It was the best show I've seen so far. You guys killed it! And you showed why you're a champion, baby. You were down and you still came back up and had the best show," he told her.

"You don't see how great you are. You really have no idea. Baby, nobody's looking at steps. People are looking at how beautiful you look and how great you sound."

J.Lo loved the praise and later told her manager that's one of the reasons why she's so in love with her fianc. "Whether he wants to or not, we're getting married. We're getting married forever," she said.

Fingers crossed that means their wedding is coming sooner rather than later.
