One month after exchanging vows in court, John Ogu and his fiancée Chiugo Veronica Akaolisa had their traditional wedding a few days ago.

The couple got married on Tuesday, December 29 at the bride's hometown Ndi Ojukwu village in Anambra State.

The footballer who pulled a surprise proposal in October, described his traditional wedding as the happiest day of his life.

"I thank God for everything and everyone who came through to support me.

"Thanks everyone for your wishes. "I and my wife @adaolisaogu are both saying a big thankyou to you all .

"Now looking forward to meeting my teammates ", Ogu wrote on his Instagram page.
