China theme park has welcomed 1 million visitors BEFORE its opening date

Shanghai Disney Resort is set to open on the 16th of June, but the theme park has already welcomed a whooping 1 million visitors.

According to Shanghai Daily, since the Shanghai Disney metro station opened, Shanghai Disneyland has welcomed 960,000 visitors.

It is projected that by the end of the year, Shanghai Disneyland projects will welcome 15 million visitors.

Shanghai Disney is three times larger than Hong Kong Disneyland, whose capacity is 34,000.

With all that capacity, it's no wonder a whooping 15 million visitors are expected to walk through the park's gates by the end of the year.
