Spicing up your water with fruits or vegetables not only adds an exciting taste to water but it also builds up the nutritional value of water. Strawberries are a great source of vitamin C. Cucumbers rehydrate the body and also supplies it with vitamins.
Pulse Nigeria has got the perfect recipe to make water taste more satisfying.
What you need:
- 4 strawberries
- 1/2 cucumber
- 4 cups of water

Directions:
- Slice strawberries in half.
- Slice cucumbers thinly.
- Put fruits in a pitcher. Pour water in.
- Refrigerate for four hours. This is done to allow the flavour and fragrance of the fruits steep into the water.
- After refrigeration, stir the strawberry-cucumber water.
- You can either strain the water or leave it with the fruit slices in.
- If you decide to strain the water into a another pitcher, garnish flavoured water with cucumber or strawberries or both.
Feel free to add some ice cubes if you like.
