It's simple, contouring is done to give the face an illusion of a slimmer and well chiseled one (it makes you look Barbie doll cute too) and sometimes few do it to achieve a slimmer and more pointed nose, paying attention to nose contouring.

  • To get contour and highlight done right after getting the face makeup ready, these steps are best:
  • Start off with the a face definer kit using the darkest shade from the kit on the jawlines. Apply this on both sides of the face as well as the temple and areas on the forehead.
  • Move on to the nose, define the nose with the same dark shade from (1) above. Carefully go over the sides of the nose all the way up under where the brow starts.
  • Highlight the bridge of the nose using the lighter shade from the face definer kit making sure to highlight under the cheekbones and the chin.
  • Blend out the nose area, the jawlines to even out any harsh line with a blending brush!

It's that easy! For a visual representation, check out a video on it below.
