Jackie Aina gives hilarious foundation review from legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath

Affectionately known by all as the 'Mother of Beauty', Pat McGrath MBE is a British make-up artist who has been called the most influential make-up artist in the world by Vogue magazine and other commentators.

She officially launched her line, Pat McGrath Labs in the Untied States in 2015 with the now iconic Mothership palette and has slowly expanded her range to include foundations, highlights, and lipsticks. By all accounts, Pat's makeup line is one of the most luxurious premium makeup lines in existence.

For her latest product, Pat introduces the Skin Fetish line. Officially called the 'Skin Fetish Sublime Perfection: The System', made up of one universal primer, 36 shades of foundation across five levels (Light, Light Medium, Medium, Medium Deep, Deep) and five setting powders. Think: “prime, perfect and set for buildable coverage in a satin finish.

Speaking to Harper's Bazaar at her London launch event, Pat explained that "36 [shades] is the amount that I need to reach all skin tones and skin colours - at this moment. "

Speaking about how to find the perfect foundation colour, Pat said, “I check the arms, the chest, the neck – those are all four different skin colours. And that’s how I will choose the foundation [shade] from there. We wear so much sun protection on our face it’s often paler then the body.”

Nigerian beauty influencer Jackie Aina's latest video is an honest review of Pat's latest line. In the video, she tries the products and compares them to other luxury products on the market.
