In his exclusive interview with Pulse TV, Ketchup has spoken about the manner of music consumption by Nigerians.

The singer who hit prominence with his ‘Rozay’ single, has consistently put out music in the dancehall genre. In this interview, he talked about the limitations of dancehall music, stating that it doesn’t exist.

“Nigerians don’t have a sound. Nigerian consumers of music they just follow what is making sense to them. If Celine Dion should come and sing a Yoruba song, they just follow. Some people don’t know what kind of song they listen to.”

Ketchup further stated that there is no limitation to the genre, as many Nigerians lack the awareness to differentiate between genres.
