Success has not been with the Super Eagles since his debut in the 1-1 draw against Senegal in a friendly game in March 2017.

In that game, he came in as a second-half substitute and had a huge influence in the game.

Since that appearance, injuries and lack of game time have prevented the striker from getting into the team. Despite his absence, the 21-year-old forward is very confident of getting back into the team soon.

“I feel bad that I have not been able to feature many times for the Super Eagles. There have been either injuries or some other issue during the times I was invited,” the Watford striker told the official website of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

“I am however restating my commitment to the national team and I promise to give my best and shine whenever I’m called again.”

Success made just 19 Premier League starts in his debut season for Watford as he struggles with his fitness.

Ahead of next season, the striker is looking forward to working with new manager Marco Silva.

“It certainly will be a new era with the new coach. We hope for a better season starting from August 12. I really want to do better in the coming season for Watford and also in the League, and for Nigeria anytime I am invited,” the former Granada forward added.
