Inter sign Adem Ljajic, Felipe Melo and Alex Telles

Inter left it late to confirm the signings of Adem Ljajic, Felipe Melo and Alex Telles before the Serie A transfer window closed on Monday as Hernanes joined Juventus.

Serbia forward Ljajic arrives at San Siro on loan from Serie A rivals Roma for the rest of the season with an option to make the deal permanent.

Experienced midfielder Melo joined Roberto Mancini's side from Galatasaray in a permanent switch, while left-back Telles departed the Turkish giants to join Inter initially on loan.

Playmaker Hernanes joined champions Juve on a three-year deal for 11million in a hectic end to the transfer window.

Ljajic came on as a late substitute in Roma's 2-1 victory over champions Juventus on Saturday, but will now spend the remainder of the campaign with Inter and could stay on a long-term basis for a fee of 11million.

No details were given over Melo's move to Inter, but the 32-year-old Brazilian - who played under Manici in Istanbul - has reportedly cost 3.5million.

Former Brazil international Melo spent spells with Fiorentina and returns to Serie A four years after initially moving to Turkey on loan.

Inter have the option of securing a permanent deal for 22-year-old full-back Telles, who also played under Mancini at Galatasaray.Inter president Erick Thohir said: "We would like to welcome our three new signings " Felipe Melo, Alex Telles and Adem Ljajic " to the club."I'm sure that Felipe Melo will further strengthen our midfield options with his physical prowess and battling qualities.
