Video of soccer referee brandishing gun mid match goes viral

A video footage shows a referee pull out a gun in the middle of a soccer match in Brazil.

The video shows Gabriel Murta pulling out a gun in a dispute over a red card during an amateur Brazilian soccer match between Brumadinho and Amantes da Bola.

Murta, also a policeman, was allegedly kicked and punched by an Amantes da Bola player before brandishing the gun, The Guardian reports.

The gun was not fired, and nobody got hurt, but Murta is now facing a psychological assessment before he is allowed to return to work as a referee.
