Adele has won the Album of the Year at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards.
The British singer’s third studio album, “25” won over records by Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Drake, and Sturgill Simpson.
Adele was also nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year. She won Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album.
Earlier in the show, she performed the hit record “Hello” from “25”, and took a moment to restart her performance of George Michael’s “Fastlove” during a tribute to the late icon.
The singer-songwriter had also just won Record of the Year immediately before returning to the stage to accept Album of the Year.
During both acceptance speeches, she spoke directly to Beyoncé, telling her how much of an inspiration she is.
