Premier League outfits, teams outside England commentators, pundits, present and past players all reacted to the tragic incident.

In statement Leicester City said, "A Leicester City spokesman said: “We are assisting Leicestershire Police and the emergency services in dealing with a major incident at King Power Stadium.

"The Club will issue a more detailed statement once further information has been established.”

A message on the official AC Milan Twitter account said, "Following the tragedy that hit Leicester football club, AC Milan’s deepest thoughts go to the city, the team and the fans."

Manchester United said, "The thoughts of everyone at Manchester United are with @LCFC and those affected by tonight’s incident at King Power Stadium."
