Wizkid loses phone at Lagos concert, offers N5m for its return

Singer Wizkid, real name Ayo Balogun, lost his phone at the Nativeland concert held in Lagos on Saturday, December 21. He is now offering N5 million to anyone who can return it to him.

The ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner’s appearance at the concert was a major surprise to fans and fun-seekers and he didn’t disappoint as he thrilled them to a riveting performance.

However, it didn’t all end as planned for the singer as his phone was stolen at the concert.

Although it still remains unclear how the phone went missing, Wizkid has reportedly offered to pay whoever returns the missing phone to him with the sum of N5 million.

This reward announcement was shared on X by username, @Dayoreigns, noting that the person will go home with a total of N7 million as DJ Tunez is also offering to pay N2 million.

According to the post, Wizkid will pay N5 million, while DJ Tunez will pay N2 million, bringing the total reward to N7 million. The X post read,

Recall that Wizkid recently threw a private dinner in Lagos where he hosted some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry.

Videos from the dinner showed 2Baba, Wande Coal, Olamide, Tems, Ruger, Seyi Vibez and a host of others partying with Wizkid.

One of the clips from the event showed the moment Wizkid introduced Seyi Vibez to 2Baba.

Another clip from the event, shared by Tems’ manager, Muyiwa Awoniyi, showed Wizkid trying to ensure Ruger, Tems, and others featured in a video with him.
