In a surprising twist, Anatii opted to use Lego style animations for the video depicting caricatures of him & Khaled. The animation on the video itself seems great but I can’t help but think that for a collaboration of this magnitude, live footage of Anatii & Khaled in the video together would have been a great move.
The actual quality of the song has received mixed reviews, but all that aside this is a collaboration between an American Hip Hop heavyweight still in his prime & a South African artists with a burgeoning career. This is a massive achievement in legitimizing the South African Hip Hop movement on the international scene. I really feel having that visual endorsement outside of the studio session footage we have seen would have been a big win.
Obviously there is a plethora of red tape & logistics to overcome to get Khaled & Anatii in the same space to shoot a video together, but I would have preferred waiting longer for a video that provided that. When you consider that Anatii has been sitting on this song for quite some time, the logistics of getting a video together do not seem as complex as they would had all this been done in  a few months.
Even if this is not my favorite Anatii song at the moment I recognize its achievement.
