Movie gets new release date

Previously scheduled to be released on July 21, 2017, the musical comedy sequel will now debut in theaters on December 22, 2017.

Written by Kay Cannon, who penned the first two films, upcoming sequel will be produced by Elizabeth Banks.

Anna Kendrick, Britanny Snow and Rebel Wilson have already confirmed their return to sequel.

Hailee Steinfeld, Anna Camp, Alexis Knapp, Adam DeVine, Katey Sagal, Ester Dean, Kelley Jakle and Hana Mae Lee are yet to confirm their return.
