When domestic violence is discussed, it is usually assumed that the victims are women. However, research shows that a reasonable number of men are victims of physical and emotional abuse.

On the episode, Andre shares his experience with verbal lashing from an ex and how he handled it. Bolanle also shares the one-time she slapped an ex.

Discussing domestic violence against women, Andre Blaze states that there is no justification for hitting a woman.

"'It is BS when a man says the woman got beaten up because she was being rude or abusive," he says.
