Watch opening scenes of season 2

A new season ofwas released  on Sunday, January 24, 2016, and a clip of its opening scenes was also released online.

The web series created and written by Nicole Amarteifio follows the lives of five modern Ghanaian and Nigerian women who return home after living abroad for years.

The series features MaameYaa Boafo (Nana Yaa), Esosa E (Ngozi), Nana Mensah (Sade), Marie Humbert  (Makena) and Maame Adjei (Zainab).

It also stars Ghanaian actor Mawuli Gavor, Angolan actor Hoji Fortuna and Nigerian actor Jason Nwoga.

The new season of “An African City” will also be airing on EbonyLife TV (DSTV – Channel 165 on Monday, February 1.
