Tottenham gives striker time off to sort family issues

Following his several Facebook revelations about his family, Emmanuel Adebayor has been given time off by his club, Tottenham to sort out his family issues.

In the past weeks, the Togolese has taken to his Facebook account to reveal some dirty details of the relationship between him and his family.

Tottenham manager, Maurico Pochettino has granted the striker a compassionate leave to return to Togo to sort the issues.

This will be the second time this season that Adebayor has been sent on leave because of his family issues.

The former Arsenal star has been excused from training this week, the final game of the season against Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday and the post-season tour to Malaysia and Sydney.

Adebayor the club hopes will have a clear head when he returns ahead of next season before a session can be reach on his future.
