Liverpool have completed the signing of highly rated Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi.
The 18-year-old according to report underwent a medical at Anfield before signing a professional contract.
However, Awoniyi does not qualify for a work permit so will be immediately sent out on loan to FSV Frankfurt
A loan move would be beneficial for the youngster who currently plays for Imperial Soccer Academy in Nigeria.
A number of big European clubs were looking for the signature of the striker; according to , Manchester City was interested in the striker before Liverpool snagged him.
Awoniyi was a member of World Cup-winning Golden Eaglets in 2013, and was also a pivotal part of the Flying Eagles that won the U-20 African Cup of Nations in Senegal earlier this year.
The striker was also part of the Flying Eagles team to the last U-20 FIFA World Cup in New Zealand.
