Veteran striker undergoes surgery

Departing Chelsea striker, Didier Drogba has undergone a surgery to remove a metal plate from his arm.

The veteran striker due to the surgery missed out on Chelsea's s tour of Thailand and Australia.

Drogba has played his last game for Chelsea and is currently weighing up his options on where he will be playing next season.

The Major League Soccer and a switch to the Australian League are two of his main options after rulling ot playing for another team in the Premier League.
