Dallas Cowboys owner talks up Tony Romo return in London

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is confident injured quarterback Tony Romo will play against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.

Romo sat out Sunday's 28-17 loss to the Arizona Cardinals due to a back injury sustained against the Washington Redskins on October 27.

The injury has officially been diagnosed as two transverse process fractures in his lower back.

But Romo will make the trip to London for the Cowboys' clash with the Jaguars at Wembley Stadium on November 9 and Jones said the 34-year-old would not be travelling unless he was a chance of playing.

"I do see him playing," Jones told NFL Network after the loss to Arizona.

"He's going on the trip to London, and logic tells you that we wouldn't have him make that trip to London and back if we didn't think he was going to play, so it does depend on the type of week he has at practice.

"But if he has the week we expect, he should be our quarterback."
