Smalling's girlfriend often shares pictures of the pet dog that once flew first class from London to Manchester.

Chris Smalling and his pet dog have gotten so close that she became sad at seeing the Manchester United defender leave for training.

Smalling on Tuesday, April 21 shared a photo of his dog, Miley looking sad and heartbroken watching on from the car window as he made his way into Carrington training headquarters.

The Cocker Spaniel Jack Russell cross looked like she was sad to see her owner leave for training.

Smalling and his girlfriend, Sam Cooke believe Miley is the most pampered dog in the Premier League.

Cooke often shares pictures of their pet dog being pampered, even sharing one of her travelling first class on a Virgin train from London to Manchester.
