Andy Murray into first clay-court final
Andy Murray recovered from a poor start against Roberto Bautista-Agut to reach his first clay-court final at the ATP Tour's BMW Open in Munich.
In a semi-final clash that saw both players pressed into action a matter of hours after they had completed last-eight victories, Murray left himself with work to do as he lost the first three games.
However, the Scot broke twice to take the opener 6-4, albeit after squandering four set points, and then took the second set by the same margin courtesy of a break to love in game one.
Murray, who had an angry exchange with Lukas Rosol in his quarter-final, will now face Philipp Kohlschreiber - a 2-6 6-1 6-4 victor over Gerald Melzer after coming from behind.
Two dropped service games cost Kohlschreiber the opening set, but the German won six games on the bounce in the second to battle his way back into the match.
The decider went with serve until Kohlschreiber converted his third break point at 5-4 up to wrap up the win and his first final of the season.
Kohlschreiber has won this event on two previous occasions, and finished as runner-up to Tommy Haas in 2013.
