German Legend Handed Child Treatment

Germany 1974 World Cup winning captain Franz Beckenbauer has been banned from teh World Cup and other FIFA related matters for th next ninety days.

The German great was suspended for refusing to cooperate with an inquiry into the Qatar 2022 World Cup hosting bid.

FIFA has declared the suspension imminent, therefore, the former Bayern Munich president will not take part in any football related matters for three whole months.

Beckenbauer was a part of the committee that voted the 2022 hosting right to Qatar back in 2010, the committee also chose Russia as the host for 2018.

FIFA Ethics prosecutor Michael Garcia had requested that the ban be placed on the 1990 World Cup winning coach, after he rejected an inquiry into the investigation and two attempts by the prosecutor to speak with him in what might have been an interrogation.
