President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick has revealed that the body will soon clear all their outstanding debts.
The NFF are reportedly owing coachesand players some wages and bonus and Pinnick revealed that it was all due to lack of financial resources.
“We are not excited that we are owing coaches, we are not excited that we are owing players, if we have money we will pay,” Pinnick said in a Youtube video interview with NFF.
Pinnick revealed that the Federal Government have approved al their request and they will be clearing all their debts.
The NFF chief revealed that the dwindling Nigerian economy has been the major reason why they can’t pay wages.
“The economy is bad and it is affected out sponsors,” Pinnick further said.
“So when they come for reviews saying ‘we cannot meet our contractual agreement for now’ you cannot hang them.
“You can only see reasons with them and pamper them and give them encouragement while you look for other means to achieve our goals.
