Pneumonia is a deadly infection that causes inflammation in the lungs, see symptoms to watch out for...

The infection which if left untreated are usually caused by different factors notably by germs that enter the lungs taking over the delicate lung tissues and in most cases overpower the immune system.

When the lung tissues are infected, the air sacs become inflamed with pus and fluid causing discomfort like coughing, breathing problems and fever. If not caught and treated early, pneumonia can be fatal.

There are different types of pneumonia from aspiration which happens after inhaling dust, gas, liquid. There's also community acquired pneumonia which is contacted in public places amongst many others.

These symptoms cuts across the types of pneumonia and if you observe any, consult a physician immediately:

1. A tight/uncomfortable chest pain that gets worse when you cough or inhale deeply.
