Two groups have donated a 60KVA soundproof generating set and a Blood Mobile Van to the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital (UUTH).

God Ambassador Mission International Uyo and the Safe Blood Africa United States (USA) have donated a generating set and the Blood Mobile Van to the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital.
God Ambassador Mission International Uyo and the Safe Blood Africa United States (USA) donated the generating set to the hospital's dialysis unit and the Blood Mobile Van respectively.
gathered that the donations were made in conjunction with Rotary Clubs in California USA.
The President of Rotary Club, Uyo, Dr Val Attah, said the Mobile Blood Van was donated by all the bodies and institutions involved in the Safe Blood Africa project, an International partnership and collaboration which started in 2010.
Attah lauded the UUTH medical team, especially the Chief Medical Director, Prof. Etete Peters, for his visionary leadership.
Peters appreciated the donations.
