The results of the Bar exams resit are out, and the numbers aren't bad
The Bar exams held a resit, and we're looking at a 65% pass rate, which is not so bad to be honest.
The results were based on the exams conducted from April 22 to 28. The Director-General, Nigerian Law School, Mr Olarewaju Onadeko, (SAN), made this known in a statement on Saturday in Bwari, FCT.
Here are some interesting stats:
65.6%: That's the percentage of students that passed their exams. A total of 2,125 students wrote the examinations, and 1,393 students passed.
6.4%: That's the percentage of candidates that had a conditional pass. That makes up 196 candidates.
28%: This is the failure rate. The number of candidates who failed are 596. Onadeko said that the ‘Call to the Bar’ ceremony for the successful candidates will hold on July 13 in Abuja.
We wish all the successful candidates a hearty congratulations.
