The Chippa United of South Africa goalkeeper and Emmanuella tied the knot in a quiet court wedding.

Akpeyi was between the post when the Bafana Bafana in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier.

He, however, brushed away the disappointment of that defeat to tie the knot with his partner Pretty Emmanuella in a quiet ceremony in Lagos.
The couple had earlier in December 2016 held an elaborate traditional wedding ceremony in Abia State.
