Musa has been linked with a move away from the 2016 Premier League champions but he ignored his situation to put in an impressive performance, sealing the Foxes win with a goal in stoppage time.

The 25-year-old was the quickest to reach a blocked ball but his first time shot at goal was denied before he pounced on the rebound to score at the far post.

It was a goal that rounded up his brilliant performance of the night.

Demarai Gray opened the scoring for Leicester City in the 52nd minute from a solo run before Islam Slimani struck twice in four minutes, rounding the keeper for the first and then sliding in at the far post.

Caolan Lavery got a goal for Sheffield United before Musa sealed the win for Leicester City.

The Super Eagles star will be hoping that his fine performance against Sheffield United will get him a place in Leicester City’s matchday squad for their weekend trip to Manchester United in the Premier League.
