Mark Zuckerberg has not publicly responded to Kanye West's Twitter plea for his billions, but fans think he may have just subtly replied - by liking a Facebook post which mocked Kanye's use of a rival social media platform to air his plea.
Mark Zuckerberg may have lowkey replied rapper's $1 billion plea
Zuckerberg has already promised that he would donate 99% of his Facebook shares 'for the greatness of human progress', so Kanye is not going to get anything from there anyways.
In a Facebook post that has now been deleted, former Facebook software engineer Steven Grimm wrote: ‘Dear Kanye West: If you’re going to ask the CEO of Facebook for a billion dollars, maybe don’t do it on Twitter.’
And Facebook founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, along with hundreds of others who liked the post, like it too.
US magazine Complex was the first to spot the like, which comes a few days after Kanye took to Twitter to reveal that he was $53 million in debt. West then went on to state that the smartest solution to his problem was to suggest that ‘Mark Zuckerberg invest 1 billion dollars into Kanye West ideas after realizing he is the greatest living artist and greatest artist of all time.’
‘Mark Zuckerberg I know it’s your bday but can you please call me by 2mrw…’ he added, concluding with ‘You love hip hop, you love my art… I am your favorite artist but you watch me barely breathe and still play my album in your house …’
