Kissing between you and a woman you like is both a baby step and such a big deal at the same time.
These are five reasons why you can’t afford to not get it right.
1. You’re satisfied when you kiss better
Based on Sheril Kirshenbaum’s findings in her book, “The Science of Kissing: What Our Lips Are Telling Us,” kissing could be a parameter to decide the happiness in your relationship.
Overall it appears that the amount of times a couple kisses is proportional to their stated level of relationship satisfaction.
2. It could cost you a relationship
Further, stats from that book also shows that 66% of women have ended a relationship because someone was a bad kisser.
Imagine being a great guy al round and losing a babe just because you could not kiss properly. What a shame, right?
3. Beautiful memories
Kissing and doinf it right leaves an indelible mark in the minds of women. Research also establishes that people generally tend to remember their first kiss more vividly than the first time they had sex.
Psychologist John Bohannon from Butler University studied 500 people and results from his study lends more credence to this.
4. Kissing is a building block to deeper intimacy
Yes sex is good and earth shattering orgasms are fantastic but even that does not match up to the intimacy you coukd build with great, well-done kisses with your partner.
Social scientists Joanna Brewis and Stephen Linstead report that kissing is so intimate that even prostitutes often won’t kiss because it requires a “genuine desire and love for the other person.”
Imagine that.
5. Kissing could make you live longer
A ten-year psychology study in Germany found that men who kissed their wives before leaving for work lived an average of five years longer than those who did not.
The researchers also reported that not kissing one’s wife before leaving in the morning increased the possibility of a car accident by 50 percent!
Don’t be scared though; it is not particularly the act that gets credit for the long life, it is the positivity associated with it. Kissing one’s bae goodbye in the morning signifies an untroubled relationship between couples and with relationship happiness comes peace of mind which in turn aids a better life.
Oh, and one more thing, the study was actually carried out in the 80’s!
