1. Passport and Visa (for some)

Only citizens from other West African countries can enter Nigeria without a visa. But a passport is compulsory.

2. Typhoid and Malaria vaccine

Nigeria is full of tropical rainforests and mosquitoes are everywhere including the posh neighbourhoods. Clean water cannot be promised so please take some shots.

3. Pidgin English

Forget English being the lingua franca, you need to be able to communicate in pidgin English

4. Naira

Nigerians spend only Naira so change your money at the airport on arrival.

Where and when to go?

January - April

It is highly suggested you travel to Nigeria during the dry season. May - December you might witness a lot of rainfall and flooding.
