The event will see a convergence of artists from around the world including Nigeria,Germany, France, Austria.

Organised by Goethe Institut, the 2-day festival will hold from June 24th to Sunday June 26th at the Freedom Park and Federal Government Press, Lagos Island.
In a chat with Pulse at the press conference to announce the event, Head of Goethe Institut in Nigeria, Marc-Andre Schmachtel revealed that the aim of the festival is to promote the performance art in Nigeria.
Speaking further, Schmachtel shared his hope for everyone to be inspired by the event to do more for the performance and visual arts in Lagos.
"I hope people can start to think about what can be done with the environment because Lagos offers so many possibilities of interacting culturally and artistically with the city"
Showcasing artists at the Lagos Live festival include Qudus Onikeku, Crown Troupe, Joshua Alabi, Israel Sunday Akpan, Busayo Oluwu and Taiwo Ojudun to name a few.
Berlin-based group, Monster Truck and Austrian group Theatre im Bahnhof are also some of the international artists that will showcase their works.
This first edition of the Lagos Live festival took place in December 2012 as part of the 50th anniversary celebration of Goethe Institut.
