Rodgers who considers Grace Jones to be her spirit animal revealed to Mashable that with the help of a friend, she created her first painting and was inspired to do more afterwards.
Said Rodgers:
"I was shocked with the result, I was having fun with this, so I continued [to do it] on my own. I was curious as to how far I could take this and I haven't stopped since."
Rodgers does all the painting on herself and spends an average of one and two hours on each session.
The longest she ever spent however was on a painting which she titled "Stealth Mode".
Although she originally started with black and white due to limited resources, Rodgers now uses more colours.
