Global retail brand H&M unveils 23 year old 'hijab model' for unique 'Close The Loop' campaign
H&M has released a unique 'Close The Loop' campaign with twenty-three (23) year old Muslim woman donning hijab in a new campaign.
The 23-year-old Muslim woman, Mariah Idrissi a Pakistani and Moroccan based in London makes first model to wear hijab for the retail giant as she appeared in the campaign wearing tile detailed hijab and sunglasses in the video.
Idrissi who revealed she starting wearing hijab at age seventeen (17) was modest for the campaign done tasteful revealing she took permission from her parents before she was featured in the ad.
"It always feels like women who wear hijab are ignored when it comes to fashion... so it’s amazing that a brand that is big has recognised the way we wear hijab" Mariah Idrissi who works at a salon in London offered.
She also disclosed that her styling team were made up women with men keeping respectable distance away from her during the shooting.
