Africa Meets Reggae and World Music International Festival is a return of Music with its positive vibration that unites, free the people and an instrument of communicating positive ideas to the people, its set to promote love, peace and unity among the people. Its a return to the days of good reggae and good music commonly refered to as "world music", it is music with great messages that uplift the soul.

The organizers of the event held a press conference ahead of the Big Showdown
The organizers are set to bring together Reggae artistes from Africa and around the world including Victor Essiet (Mandators), Ortis Wiliki, Ras Kimono, Janelia McNair, Majek Fashek, Rymzo, St. Peters and the Experience Band and others to be announced subsiquently.

Venue: Hockey Pitch, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria.
